The Hootenany is upon us, with friends en route to Knoxville as I type this. I’m excited for this weekend because I get to see friends who live far away, because I get to sit outside and drink cocktails, because it’s starting to feel like fall, because it will be just the kind of socializing I like to do- sweet and laid back with delicious things to eat and drink. Here are a few things I’ve made:
cherry whiskey and cantaloupe cucumber juice with basil
green tomato and basil juice
rosemary ginger syrup
cucumber lime juice, hibiscus soda, strawberry mint jus
blackberries in concord grape syrup and brandied cocktail cherries
All of this looks so amazing! I can’t wait to hear how the hootenanny went. I’m definitely bummed I cannot make it.
