Yesterday I broke out Ted Haigh’s wonderful book, Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails to try something new (to me).
In accordance with my current crush on gin, I made the Pegu Club Cocktail, a simple combination of gin, Cointreau, fresh lime and bitters.
1.5 oz gin (I used Hendrick’s)
.5 oz Cointreau
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Shake in an iced cocktail shaker and strain into a cocktail glass.
