I have been eating this breakfast every day this week, basically. I’m not a big fan of sweets in the morning, but don’t usually feel like anything that’s very heavy. This = perfect.
Perfect Spring Breakfast
- thinly sliced sourdough
- cream cheese
- smoked trout
- arugula or other bitter green
- balsamic vinegar
- white truffle oil
Spread thin layer of cream cheese over bread. lay a few pieces of arugula on top, followed by a few pieces of smoked trout. Drizzle with vinegar and oil and add salt and pepper to taste.
